The-N has decided to dedicate a day (unsure of the day) to Degrassi's Toby! Isn't that awesome? He totally deserves his own day. The-Mary posted an article about him:

Do you know what today is? Besides Arbor Day and the National Day of Silence?

IT'S... TOBYBRATION!

The holiday that we have willed into existence with the sheer force of our affection for our man, our guy, the Toby of our Dreams... Toby Isaacs.

Why Toby? I can't believe you're even asking, but OK, here's why:Because he is the smartest, loyal-est, totally underrated-est, sarcastic-est, sweet-est boy on Degrassi and he puts the "eeeee!" in Geek.

AND Jake Goldsbie is awesome. Look how cute! AND... well, the most major piece of our We ♥ Toby puzzle is tonight's Degrassi episode. What it basically boils down to is: Toby is rad because he knows exactly who he is. And I don't mean "he knows his place" -- I mean he knows what's up. He's no sucker, and he's got guts, and some day he is gonna make some woman very, very happy. Basically, Toby is the poo.

So come Tobybrate with us! We got Tons of Toby to share:
1) FREE T♥BY SHIRT IN AVI MALL!!! And The-Lisa made the Ladies of Online some real live actual T♥BY shirts, check us out, rockin' our love on our torsos!

2) The "Are You Good Enough for Toby?" Quiz:
3) Toby Dynamite Snaggable!
4) Total Tobython in the Click so you can gorge yourself on the Tobes.
5) And there's always the Jake Goldsbie Podcast from the archives.
6) We know there are a lot of secret and not-so-secret Toby fans out there... so let's all have a Toby Party in the Comments! Tell us your favorite thing about Toby. And if you decide to be a hater... well... you're not good enough for Toby anyway.

Luv,
The-Mary

PS: I know that today's Day of Silence was a particularly special one, dedicated to the memory of Lawrence King, the 8th grader who was shot and killed by a classmate at school -- because he was gay, say Lawrence's friends. So I didn't want to just breeze by it like that... As in past years, we'd love to hear about the different ways you participated in the Day of Silence and how it went. Nmail, comment... let's talk about it.

Happy Tobybration!
